Dressed head to toe in luxurious navy, this bedroom uses the hue in a myriad of ways, such as paired with white in the bedding, as a backdrop behind a gold mirror, and in a geometric pattern on the floor.
Elegant navy spaces often incorporate a lot of white as well to help balance things out - here, white architectural details break up the navy blue walls for a symmetrical approach to design. A pair of wall sconces on either side of the framed fireplace helps carry out that balanced theme.
When working with a dramatic tone such as navy, a monochromatic complementary colour keeps the space airy - curtains hung higher than the window elongates the space, while the mixture of chairs in brown wood and white fabric also keep the home decor grounded.
